About us
EVENTRA was founded in 2023 by Adrian Hof with a clear vision: to transform how major events manage their workforce. In January 2024 Julius von Egloffstein joined as co-founder and lead developer, and together they lead the team that combines deep expertise in AI and software development with hands-on experience in event operations. From festivals to corporate events, we build the tools that make complex staffing simple.
Our mission
Our mission is to fundamentally transform workforce management for major events. We believe that organizing shifts, tracking time, and coordinating hundreds or thousands of staff should be effortless—so we build intelligent software that analyzes staffing needs, optimizes schedules, and adapts to change in real time. With EVENTRA, event organizers save time and resources while their teams stay aligned and their events run smoothly.
The people behind EVENTRA
A founding team from software and event operations, a core team of engineering and on-site experience, and a network of organisers, payroll offices, universities and advisors who work with EVENTRA every month. What we build comes from event operations, not from a drawing board.
What we own
Built on the festival grounds
The first version ran at a festival in November 2023, not in a pitch deck. Check-in works without a signal because there is none behind the stage. When a feature runs for the first time, we are standing next to it.
Every rule cites its source
70-day rule, mini-job limit, immediate registration, vetting: EVENTRA warns before the payroll office does, and every warning names its legal basis. What we cannot back up, we do not build.
Data stays in Germany
Application, database and backups run on our own servers in Germany, operated by us. ID data and wages take no detour through a US cloud.
Short paths
Whoever calls us talks to someone who knows the code. A bug during the season does not land in a queue but with the person who can fix it.
Our network
Our roots are in studies and research at KIT, TUM, FZI and TalTech and in engineering projects at BMW and Mercedes-AMG. Haus des Stiftens funded EVENTRA in its early days. Permanent Entertainment, the organiser of the Ikarus Festival, has been a customer since 2024 and is the first place new features run. Our customers' payroll offices are the proving ground for every export file.

April, 2023
The idea is born
The idea for EVENTRA is born. Originally developed to digitize time tracking at festivals, the tool has since grown to cover much more.
November, 2023
First prototype in use
The first working prototype of EVENTRA is used at Hardshift and Contact Festival.
January, 2024
StoTax export
The first payroll interface: master data and changes go to the payroll office as a StoTax file.
February, 2024
The team grows
Julius von Egloffstein becomes co-founder. The team expands.
April, 2024
EVENTRA Professional launch
Official launch of EVENTRA Professional. The platform is successfully used at the first event.
May, 2024
Ikarus Festival
EVENTRA is used by over 1,000 active users at Ikarus Festival. With over 120,000 guests, a major milestone.
August, 2024
Vetting with police integration
At the Echelon Festival the reliability check runs directly with the police for the first time: more than 2,000 people are vetted through EVENTRA. The module later becomes part of accreditation.
November, 2024
Future of Festivals fair
Presentation and participation at the Future of Festivals fair, one of the leading fairs for event innovation.
December, 2024
Accreditation and wallet passes
The accreditation module ships: contractors enter their own people, passes land in Apple and Google Wallet.
June, 2025
Contractor portal
Subcontractors get their own dashboard, their admins are invited by email.
August, 2025
Echelon, second season with the police
The police integration runs at the Echelon Festival for the second year, now from within accreditation: contractors enter their own people, the clearance comes back into the system.
November, 2025
EVENTRA crew app
The native crew app is born: shifts, check-in and profile in your pocket.
January, 2026
Contract management
Employment contracts are generated from templates, signed and filed in the personnel record.
March, 2026
DATEV interface
LODAS and Lohn und Gehalt as a file and via API: the month reaches the payroll office without retyping.
April, 2026
Onboarding with approval and Smart Chat
New staff go through an onboarding approved by HR, the support chat moves into the app.
August, 2026
Live board, guest list and AI check
Event day gets its live board, the guest list its own module, and the AI reads the month-end close.
