Work on the software for event crew

EVENTRA plans, checks in and pays the crew of festivals, sports events and staffing agencies. We are a small team, remote in Germany, looking for four people who each take over one topic completely.

Founding teamRemote (Germany)Full-time

Founder's Associate

You work directly with the founder and take over the topics that sit between product, customers and numbers: onboarding new organisers, operations, preparing the funding round. Not an assistant role but a second mind for whatever the company needs right now.

How to apply

Send us an email with your CV and three sentences on what you would tackle first. No cover letter, no forms. We reply within a week.

Apply by email

What you do

  • Onboard new customers: set up the event structure, import crew, connect the payroll office, accompany the first season
  • Build operations: contracts, invoices, tools, insurance, everything that has run on the side so far
  • Keep the numbers: pipeline, revenue per shift, costs, forecast for the next twelve months
  • Prepare the funding round: data room, pitch material, investor list, answers to follow-up questions
  • Turn customer feedback into concrete product requirements and prioritise them with the team
  • Take on topics nobody owns yet and see them through

What you bring

  • Two to five years in a start-up, a consultancy or an event operation
  • Numbers are your working material: you build a model in a spreadsheet and explain it in three sentences
  • You write clearly, in German and English, to customers, investors and authorities
  • You have built something from zero before, whether a project, an association or a festival
  • You want to understand how event crew are planned and paid, down to the German employee group 110
  • You decide for yourself what matters today and say so when something does not work

What we offer

  • Direct access to every decision, from pricing to the term sheet
  • Remote in Germany, meetups in Munich every few weeks and at our customers' events
  • Salary plus equity in the company
  • A product used daily by thousands of crew members during the season
  • The chance to lead an area in two years that you built yourself
Marketing and salesRemote (Germany)Full-time

Marketing & Sales Manager

You are the first person at EVENTRA doing only marketing and sales. You run demos with organisers, build the pipeline, write about event crew and payroll and represent us at trade fairs. Today the founder runs every demo himself; you take them over step by step.

How to apply

Send us an email with your CV and a text you wrote and are proud of. If you like, add an example of a pipeline you built. We reply within a week.

Apply by email

What you do

  • Run demos with festivals, sports organisers and staffing agencies, from first call to contract
  • Build and maintain the pipeline: research target accounts, reach out, follow up, keep the CRM clean
  • Write content: guide articles, LinkedIn posts, comparisons, case studies with customers
  • Prepare and attend trade fairs and industry meetups, for example BOE, Prolight + Sound, Best of Events
  • Develop the website by the numbers: search queries, demo bookings, close rate
  • Feed customer feedback from demos back to product and founder

What you bring

  • Three to six years in B2B sales or marketing for software, ideally with a link to the event industry
  • You have sold yourself and know what a no on the phone feels like
  • You write well and gladly, in German, and understand how search engines rate content
  • You can run a demo where the customer talks and you listen
  • You are at home in a CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and campaign reporting
  • You are up for topics like the Minijob limit, the 70-day rule and DATEV, because our customers live with them

What we offer

  • A product that speaks for itself in the demo, and customers who recommend it
  • Base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Remote in Germany, travel to trade fairs and customers with a budget
  • Free hand on channels, content and tooling as long as the numbers hold
  • Equity in the company after the probation period

Full-Stack Developer TypeScript

You build the web application organisers use to plan, check in and pay their crew: TypeScript from the database to the interface, React with Server Components, a type-safe API layer, strictly separated data per tenant. You own features completely, from schema to interface.

How to apply

Send us an email with your CV and a link to code you wrote, whether GitHub, a package or a contribution to a project. No cover letter. We reply within a week and hold a technical conversation, no live coding.

Apply by email

What you do

  • Ship features end to end: database schema and migration, API endpoints, React components, release
  • Extend payroll: wage types, supplements, DATEV and StoTax export, 70-day and Minijob checks
  • Make planning and the live board faster: large shift plans, many concurrent users on event day
  • Integrate AI features, with schema validation and cost metering per tenant
  • Read and review other people's code, write your own so it is understood without comments
  • Talk to customers when something breaks and fix the cause, not the symptom

What you bring

  • Four or more years of TypeScript in production, at least two with React and a server framework
  • Experience with React Server Components, a modern React framework and a type-safe API layer
  • Confident in SQL: indexes, transactions, migrations, tenant isolation
  • You know when a piece of state belongs on the server and how data is cached on the client
  • You work cleanly with schema validation, linter and typecheck and keep a monorepo in order
  • You can clarify a feature with the customer in a conversation and then build it without ticket ping-pong

What we offer

  • A modern stack without legacy, consistently typed
  • Small team, short paths: your code reaches customers the same day
  • Remote in Germany, flexible hours, hardware of your choice
  • Salary by experience plus equity in the company
  • Domain depth: labour law, payroll and event operations

Mobile Developer React Native

You build the crew app thousands of crew members use on event day: accept shifts, check in by QR even without a signal, team leads see their board. React Native with a modern toolchain, Live Activities on iOS. The app is in the stores; you take it to the next level.

How to apply

Send us an email with your CV and a link to an app or repository you worked on. No cover letter. We reply within a week and hold a technical conversation, no live coding.

Apply by email

What you do

  • Develop the crew app for iOS and Android: shift overview, check-in, support chat, push
  • Make offline check-in robust: local queue, conflict resolution, timestamp of the scan
  • Build Live Activities and widgets for running shifts, with native modules in Swift and Kotlin
  • Animations and gestures that stay smooth on old Android devices
  • Run builds, over-the-air updates and store releases, analyse crashes
  • Talk to team leads and crew at events and watch how the app is used in the rain and with gloves

What you bring

  • Three or more years of React Native in production, at least one app in the App Store and on Google Play
  • Experience with builds, over-the-air updates and store releases of a React Native app
  • Confident in animations and gestures, and you know what has to run on the UI thread
  • You have built offline synchronisation before and lived through its failure cases
  • Basic Swift or Kotlin to read and extend a native module
  • TypeScript discipline: types from the server, no any, no exceptions

What we offer

  • An app with real users whose feedback you get right on the festival grounds
  • React Native on the current release, no bridge, no legacy modules
  • Remote in Germany, flexible hours, test devices and hardware of your choice
  • Salary by experience plus equity in the company
  • A web team that uses the same language and the same API as you
