My Shifts

View your assigned shifts, accept or reject assignments, and browse past shifts.

The Shifts page shows all shifts that have been assigned to you. You can find it in the main navigation under your user menu.

Page Overview

When you open the shifts page, you see the heading "Deine Schichten" (Your Shifts). The page is divided into two sections:

  1. Current and upcoming shifts -- displayed at the top, sorted so that shifts requiring your action appear first.
  2. Past shifts -- collapsed by default in a section labeled "Vergangene Schichten" with a count (e.g., "3 Schichten").

If you have no shifts at all, a calendar icon is shown with the message "Keine Schichten vorhanden" (No shifts available). If you only have past shifts but no upcoming ones, you will see "Keine anstehenden Schichten" (No upcoming shifts) above the past-shifts section.

Shift Cards

Each shift is displayed as a card with the following information:

  • Date -- shown prominently on the left side of the card with the day number, month, and year.
  • Event name -- displayed as the card title.
  • Task name -- the specific role you have been assigned to (e.g., "Barkeeper", "Servicekraft").
  • Time -- the start and end times of your shift. If times have not been set yet, this is shown in italics.
  • Description -- any additional notes about the shift, shown with a clipboard icon.
  • Status badge -- a colored label indicating the current state of the shift (see below).

Shifts that require your action (status "assigned") are visually highlighted with a thicker border and shadow.

Shift Statuses

Actions You Can Take

Accepting a Shift (Status: Assigned)

When a shift has the status "Eingeteilt", you see two buttons:

  1. "Ablehnen" (Reject) -- a red button to decline the shift.
  2. "Akzeptieren" (Accept) -- a button to accept the shift.

When you tap "Akzeptieren", a confirmation dialog opens with the title "Angebot annehmen?". This dialog shows your personal data for verification:

  • Familienstand (marital status)
  • Hauptbeschaeftigung (main employment)
  • Student status
  • Arbeitslos gemeldet (registered as unemployed)
  • Predicted tax class
  • Kontoinhaber (account holder)
  • IBAN

You can update your personal data by tapping the "Stammdaten aktualisieren" button.

Below your data, you must check four mandatory checkboxes:

  1. Confirm that your data is correct and that you are at least 18 years old.
  2. Confirm that you are not registered as unemployed, or that you have informed the company in writing.
  3. Confirm that your total short-term employment does not exceed three months or 70 days in the calendar year.
  4. Confirm that you have read and accept the terms and conditions (AGBs).

Only after checking all four boxes can you tap "Schicht bestaetigen" (Confirm shift) to finalize your acceptance.

If you have not filled out your personal data (Stammdaten), you will see the error message "Bitte fuelle zuerst deine Stammdaten aus." and be redirected to the personal data form.

Rejecting a Shift (Status: Assigned)

When you tap "Ablehnen", a confirmation dialog appears with the title "Schicht ablehnen" and the following message:

Are you sure you want to reject your shift? By rejecting this shift, all applications for this event will be deleted. Your other assigned shifts will remain. If you want to apply for additional shifts, you can do so again afterwards.

You can proceed by tapping "Ablehnen" or cancel with "Abbrechen".

Viewing Shift Info (Status: Accepted)

For accepted shifts, you see an "Info" button. Tapping it opens a dialog titled "Informationen zu deiner Schicht" that shows:

  • Team -- the team(s) you are assigned to.
  • Tätigkeit (Task) -- your assigned task.
  • Beschreibung (Description) -- shift notes.
  • Uhrzeit (Time) -- your shift times. If times are not yet set, you see: "Die Uhrzeit deiner Schicht steht noch nicht fest. Bitte überprüfe deine E-Mails regelmaessig auf Updates."

The dialog footer reminds you that further information including site maps and specific instructions will be sent via email.

Adding to Calendar (Status: Accepted)

Accepted shifts also show a "Zum Kalender hinzufuegen" (Add to calendar) button. Tapping it reveals a dropdown with three options:

  • Google -- opens Google Calendar with the shift details.
  • Outlook -- downloads an ICS file for Outlook.
  • Apple -- downloads an ICS file for Apple Calendar.

Contacting Support (Status: Rejected)

If a shift has been rejected, you see a red "Support kontaktieren" button that opens your email client to contact the company's support address.

Past Shifts Section

Past shifts are hidden by default. To view them:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. Tap the "Vergangene Schichten" bar, which shows the count of past shifts.
  3. The section expands to show all past shift cards with the same layout as current shifts.
  4. Tap the bar again to collapse the section.

Error Messages

Fehler beim Laden der Schichten -- There was a problem loading your shifts. Try refreshing the page.

Fehler beim Laden deiner Daten -- There was a problem loading your personal data. Try refreshing the page.

Bitte fuelle zuerst deine Stammdaten aus. -- You need to complete your personal data before accepting a shift.
