EVENTRA

This guide walks you through requesting and activating your personal EVENTRA demo environment. The demo gives you full access to all features for 30 days, pre-loaded with test data so you can explore everything immediately.

Navigate to eventra.app/get-started in your browser.

You will see a page split into two parts:

Left side: An overview of what you receive with the demo, displayed on a dark background with four benefit cards:
- Personal Test Environment -- Full access to all features without restrictions.
- 30 Days Access -- Enough time to explore all features at your own pace.
- Personal Consultation -- An individual introduction with one of our product experts.
- Premium Support -- Direct access to our support team for all your questions.

A green badge at the top of the left section reads "30 days free trial".

Complete all fields in the form. Fields marked here as "required" must be filled in before you can submit.

First Name and Last Name (required)

Two side-by-side text fields. Enter your first name on the left and your last name on the right.

Company Name (required)

Enter the name of your company or organization.

Desired Subdomain (required)

This determines the web address of your demo environment. Type a short name (for example, your company name) into the text field. The suffix .eventra.app is shown to the right of the input field and cannot be changed.

As you type, the system checks whether the subdomain is available in real time:

Spinning loader icon (to the left of ".eventra.app"): The system is currently checking availability.
Green checkmark icon: The subdomain is available.
Red X icon: The subdomain is already taken. Choose a different name.

Once the subdomain is available and you have typed at least 3 characters, a preview appears below the field:

Your future URL: https://yourname.eventra.app/

Phone Number (required)

An international phone input. Select your country code from the flag dropdown on the left, then enter your phone number.

Email -- business (required)

Enter your business email address. This is where you will receive your confirmation link and later your login credentials.

Country (required)

Select your country from the dropdown. Options:

Germany
Austria
Switzerland
Other

Company Size (required)

Select your company size from the dropdown. Options:

1-5 employees
6-10 employees
11-20 employees
21-100 employees
100+ employees

Below the dropdowns, a green badge reads: "No credit card required".

Click the button "Get 30-day web demo" at the bottom of the form. The button is only active once all required fields are filled in correctly.

While the form is being submitted, the button text changes to "Sending..." and the button becomes disabled.

On success

A green toast notification appears at the top of the screen with the message: "Your request has been sent successfully. You will receive an email with your access shortly." The form resets to empty.

On error

A red toast notification appears: "Error sending request. Please try again later." The form keeps your data so you can try again.

Within a few minutes you receive an email with the subject "Demo-Bestaetigung" (Demo Confirmation). The email contains:

A greeting with your first name.
The text: "Thank you for your interest in EVENTRA. Please confirm your email address to set up your demo environment."
A green button labeled "Demo bestaetigen" (Confirm Demo).
A note that the link is valid for 24 hours.

Click the "Demo bestaetigen" button in the email to proceed.

Link Expiry

The confirmation link is valid for 24 hours. After that, you need to submit the form again.

After clicking the link, you are taken to a confirmation page. There are three possible states:

Processing

A large spinning loader icon appears with the heading "Processing..." and the text "Please wait while we set up your demo environment..."

Success

A large green checkmark icon appears with the heading "Confirmation successful!" and the text:

"Your demo environment is being set up. You will receive an email with your access credentials shortly."

No further action is needed. Wait for the welcome email.

Error

A red circle with an X icon appears with the heading "Error" and an error message. A button labeled "Back to form" lets you return to the get-started page and try again.

Once your demo environment is ready, you receive a welcome email with the subject "Ihre Demo ist bereit!" (Your demo is ready!). The email contains:

A greeting with your first name.
The text: "Your EVENTRA demo environment has been successfully set up and is now ready to use!"
A highlighted box showing your demo URL: https://yoursubdomain.eventra.app/
A green button labeled "Jetzt einloggen" (Log in now).
A list of what you will find in the demo:
- Pre-configured test events and shifts
- Sample employees and applications
- Fully functional planning tools
- Time tracking and reporting
First login instructions: "For your first login, you will receive a one-time code by email. Simply enter your email address and you will receive the code to log in."

Click "Jetzt einloggen" in the welcome email, or navigate directly to your demo URL (e.g., https://yoursubdomain.eventra.app/).
You arrive at the login page. Enter the email address you used for the demo request in the E-Mail field.
Click "Anmelden" (Log in).
Since you do not yet have a password, the system sends you a one-time code (OTP) by email.
Check your inbox for the email titled "DEIN EINMALPASSWORT" (Your one-time password). It contains a 6-digit code and a direct magic link.
Either enter the 6-digit code on the OTP page, or click the "Einloggen" button in the email for instant access.

All features are fully enabled -- the demo has no feature restrictions compared to a paid plan.

Troubleshooting

Subdomain Already Taken

If you enter a subdomain that is already in use, a red X icon appears next to the subdomain field and the form cannot be submitted. Choose a different subdomain name. The error message returned by the system: "This subdomain is already taken."

Expired Confirmation Link

The confirmation link in the email expires after 24 hours. If you click an expired link, the confirmation page shows an error with the message: "Invalid or expired confirmation link." Go back to eventra.app/get-started and submit the form again to receive a new confirmation email.

Missing Confirmation Token

If you navigate to the confirmation page without a valid link (for example, by typing the URL manually), you see an error message: "No valid confirmation link." Click "Back to form" to return to the get-started page.

Provisioning Failure

In rare cases, the demo environment setup may fail. If this happens, the confirmation page shows an error. You can click "Back to form" to start over, or contact support at info@eventra.app.
