HR Dashboard & Navigation
Overview of the HR dashboard, sidebar navigation, and event switcher.
The HR Dashboard is the central hub for managing your event workforce. When you log in with an HR account, this is the first screen you see. It gives you a real-time overview of your currently selected event and provides navigation to all management areas.
What You See When You Log In
Greeting and Profile
At the top of the dashboard, you see a personalized greeting based on the time of day (e.g., "Guten Morgen, Anna!") along with your profile picture. Below the greeting, a subtitle reads: "Hier ist dein aktueller Event-Überblick für [Event Name]".
If your name is not yet set in your profile, a red warning appears: "Bitte vervollstaendige deine Stammdaten hier" with a link to your personal data page.
Dashboard Cards
The dashboard is laid out in a two-column grid on desktop (single column on mobile):
Left Column:

Event Überblick -- Shows three key metrics in colored tiles:
- Bewerber (blue tile) -- Total number of applicants and groups.
- Tagesschichten (green tile) -- Maximum daily shift count.
- Schichten (orange tile) -- Total shift count across the event.
- Below: two radial charts showing Eingeteilt (assigned percentage) and Bestaetigt (confirmed percentage), plus an Eingeteilte Personen counter.

Schichtstatus -- A donut chart breaking down all shifts by status:
- Offen (gray) -- Not yet assigned.
- Eingeteilt (orange) -- Assigned but not confirmed.
- Abgelehnt (red) -- Rejected by the employee.
- Bestaetigt (green) -- Confirmed by the employee.
- Footer shows the confirmed percentage (e.g., "85.3% der Schichten bestaetigt").

Schichten pro Tag -- A bar chart showing the distribution of shifts across event dates.

Geschaetzte Personalkosten -- An estimated cost breakdown:
- Total cost figure at the top.
- Definierte Zeiten (green) -- Shifts with both start and end times.
- Geschaetzte Zeiten (amber) -- Shifts without end times, estimated at 8 hours.
- A hover info explains the estimation methodology.
Right Column:

Event Image -- The event's uploaded image, or a placeholder EVENTRA logo.

Zeiterfassung -- A line chart of time tracking data over the event period with:
- Toggle buttons: Erfasste Zeiten (number of entries) and Stunden (total hours).
- Two stat cards: total recorded times and total hours.
- A horizontal bar chart showing processing status: Erfasst (blue), Freigegeben (green), Abgelehnt (red).
No Event State
If you have no events created yet, the dashboard shows: "Willkommen im HR-Dashboard" with the message "Keine aktiven Events gefunden" and "Um das Planen zu beginnen, lege dein erstes Event an."
Sidebar Navigation
The sidebar is always visible on the left side of the screen. It contains your organization's logo at the top, followed by two navigation sections.
Event Section ("Event planen")
This section is labeled Event planen and contains event-specific menu items. At the top is the Event Switcher dropdown (see below), followed by:

Under Schichtplanung, when expanded, you see the organizational unit tree for the selected event. Each unit is a clickable link that takes you directly to the shift planning view for that unit. At the bottom of the unit list, a link labeled Einheiten verwalten opens the unit management page.
General Section ("Allgemein")
Below the event section, the Allgemein section contains organization-wide menu items:

Settings Sidebar
When you navigate to Einstellungen, a secondary sidebar appears (on desktop, to the right of the main sidebar; on mobile, as a slide-out sheet). It is organized into three groups:
- Allgemein: Unternehmensdaten, Abonnement
- Benutzer & Zugriff: Berechtigungen
- Konfiguration: Tags & Qualifikationen, Landing Page, FAQs, Credentials
Event Switcher
The Event Switcher is a dropdown at the top of the "Event planen" section. It displays the currently selected event name and date range.
How to Switch Events
- Click the Event Switcher button (shows the current event name with an up/down arrow icon).
- A dropdown opens showing the heading Events and a list of all events for the selected year.
- Click on any event to switch to it. Hidden events display an eye-off icon next to their name.
- If multiple years of events exist, a Jahr (year) selector appears at the bottom of the dropdown with a dropdown labeled "Jahr auswaehlen".
Keyboard Shortcut
You can quickly switch events using Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+9 (or higher two-digit numbers). The shortcut number corresponds to the event's position in the list for the current year.
No Events
If no events exist for the selected year, the dropdown shows: "Keine Events für [Year]". If no events exist at all, the sidebar shows a button: Event erstellen which navigates to the events page.
User Menu
At the bottom of the sidebar, your user profile is shown with your avatar, name, and email address. Clicking it opens a dropdown with:

Mobile vs. Desktop Navigation
Desktop
- The sidebar is always visible on the left side.
- The settings sidebar appears as a second panel to the right of the main sidebar.
- All navigation items are fully visible.
Mobile
- The sidebar is hidden by default.
- A floating circular button appears in the bottom-left corner to toggle the sidebar open.
- A second floating circular button with a gear icon appears in the bottom-right corner to open the settings sidebar as a slide-out sheet.
- The sidebar opens as an overlay and automatically closes when you navigate to a new page.
Permissions
Menu items you do not have permission to access appear grayed out with a lock icon and the text "Keine Berechtigung". Features that are not enabled for your organization show the text "Feature '[name]' nicht verfügbar". Items marked with a rainbow WIP badge are still in development.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |

| Dashboard shows "Willkommen im HR-Dashboard" with no data | You have no events yet. Click Event erstellen or navigate to Events in the sidebar to create your first event. |
| Menu items appear locked | You lack the required permission. Contact your organization administrator to adjust your role in Einstellungen > Berechtigungen. |
| Event switcher shows "Keine Events für [Year]" | Change the year selector in the event switcher dropdown to a year that has events. |
| Profile warning appears about missing data | Click the "hier" link to complete your personal data (Stammdaten). |
